Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser Cleanse & Polish vs. Aldi Lacura Vitamin C Hot Cloth Cleanser

Image
Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser Cleanse & Polish... A gentle and hydrating cleanser with a rosemary, chamomile & eucalyptus scent. This cleanser will remove any trace of makeup, oil or dirt which lies on the surface of the skin and comes with a muslin cloth which is used to gently remove the cleanser from the skin. It’s suitable for all skin types. This product looks and feels luxurious, I would say it’s definitely a higher-end skincare brand. The product retails at £27.00 for 200ml – this may seem pricey however one bottle lasts me around a month (using both morning and night). It comes with a muslin cloth to remove the cleanser which is made from pure cotton, so you get the quality that you are paying for. I have been using this for just under a month and can say the appearance of my skin is glowing! I have noticed a reduction of blemishes appearing in my usual problem areas and my skin actually feels clean but hydrated – the cleanser does not have that drying sensation on your

Pixi Vitamin-C Tonic vs. Aldi Lacura Healthy Glow Vitamin C Toner

Pixi Vitamin-C Tonic I am always instantly drawn to all of the Pixi products due to their gorgeous bottles and packaging. However, after reading about the benefits of incorporating Vitamin C into your skincare routine, I knew I had to try this product! The smell of it is gorgeous - I love to use this after I’ve cleansed in the morning as it makes me feel so awake. I usually suffer from hormonal problem skin around my chin area and I found that applying a little bit of the Vitamin C tonic on a cotton pad worked wonders at keeping my spots under control and reducing scarring from previous spots. The Vitamin C tonic doesn’t irritate my skin, like some other tonics/toners would. I tried the smaller 100ml bottle, which retails at £10 but I will definitely be repurchasing the larger bottle soon which retails at £18 for the 250ml bottle. Simple Biodegradable Cleansing Wipes These Simple wipes are designed for all skin types and can be used on sensitive skin – something that is crucial for me when purchasing new skincare products as I have eczema. You get 20 wipes in a pack and they retail for £1.65. It recommends that you use these wipes to remove makeup and mascara, however I like to use these in between my morning and night-time cleanse after I’ve been to the gym or to freshen up on those no make up days! The wipes are unscented, do not contain alcohol or perfume and are SO soft on your skin – no tugging or stretching, preventing those nasty wrinkles! As we should all play our part in trying to help prevent pollution, these wipes are biodegradable and much less harmful to the environment than regular face wipes – what’s not to love?! Simple Moisturising Facial Wash vs. Aldi Lacura Moisturising Face Wash

Simple Moisturising Facial Wash For me finding something that is very “simple” and doesn’t contain harsh chemicals is number one to me when it comes to skincare. The tiniest ingredient can cause my skin to break out or react with it and it’s difficult to identify which one it is if the product contains lots of ingredients. The key ingredients in this face wash are Pro-Vitamin B5, vitamin E and Bisabolol , which help to hydrate and replenish skin. This product is soap free and dermatologically tested so it’s perfect for anyone with sensitive skin or eczema. I use this morning and night to cleanse and remove any makeup. I go in with my cream cleanser first – either the lize earle hot cloth cleanser or the Lacura hot cloth cleanser and then double cleanse with the Simple facial wash. I definitely feel like my skin is clean after using this product. It retails for £3.00 for 150ml but is usually on offer in places like Boots or Superdrug etc.   Aldi Lacura Moisturising Face Wash A
